James A. Ditch (1947 – 2009)
James A. Ditch was a founding father of the Southern California Regional Transit Training Consortium (SCRTTC). His passion for training and education was unprecedented.
This Education Fund was established in honor of James, and will provide much needed support to students who wish to pursue and/or advance their career in public transportation.
This year, the Education Fund will award $10,000 in scholarships.
All applications must be received by September 30, 2016 to be considered.
The awardees will be announced in November 2016 and presented at the James Ditch Golf Classic on November 15, 2016 to be held at the Tilden Park Golf Course in Berkeley, California in conjunction with the California Transit Association Annual Meeting from November 16 to 18, 2016.
